About IDS
Display technology and event production under one contractor. Twenty years in the UAE market, our own rental inventory and service centre, and the crew who install and run it.
01 — What IDS is
A display business first, an event contractor second
IDS is a distributor and integrator of professional display equipment: plasma and LCD video walls, interactive displays and LED screens. That is the business we have been running in the UAE since 2004.
The distribution line includes Orion, Hyundai, Commbox, Skyworth, Dicolor and Liantronics. Because we supply and commission these systems for permanent installations, the same equipment and the same engineers stand behind the rental side of the business.
- Our own rental inventory, maintained in our own service centre
- Rental and integration handled by separate in-house departments
- Installation, integration and commissioning carried out by our crew
02 — How we work
One contractor, one contract, one number to call
IDS manages the project end to end — design, production coordination, AV integration, installation and on-site support. Physical production runs through our production partners, and the project stays with us: one scope, one point of responsibility.
Selected clients
Trusted on projects that cannot be moved
Organisations that have worked with IDS. Named with permission, without claiming endorsement or an ongoing partnership.
03 — Where we work
Based in Dubai, working across the region
The office and the service centre are in Dubai Festival City. Projects run across the UAE and, with longer lead times for freight and customs, across Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Oman, Bahrain, Egypt, Morocco and Turkey.
The team's experience reaches back well before the UAE business: large exhibition, staging and broadcast projects in other markets. That background is why the technical half of a project is handled in-house rather than bought in.
