"My AV supplier and my stand builder blame each other." On a stand, the structure and the technology fail together. A screen that arrives without the right mount, a truss that will not take the fixture, a media player nobody can reach on day two. Two suppliers, one argument, and the exhibitor stands in the middle of it.

"I don't know if I still have time." Most exhibitors think the deadline is the show date. It is not. Drawings have to be with the venue for approval roughly six to eight weeks before the hall opens, and power and rigging are ordered separately with their own early-bird cut-offs.

"The quote I got has no detail in it." A number without a scope is not a quote. What is excluded — power, rigging, internet, cleaning, storage, overtime — is where exhibition budgets actually break.

"I paid for a stand I can only use once." Reuse is a design decision, not a packing decision. If it is not planned at concept stage, the structure cannot be rebuilt.

"The renders I was shown were not real projects." Concept visuals are a normal part of design. Presented as completed work, they are something else. Ask every contractor which is which.

How we solve it

Single point of responsibility. Design, production management, graphics, screens, audio, lighting and the technician on site sit under one scope, one quote and one contract. Production is delivered through our established production partners and managed end to end by IDS, so you never coordinate them yourself.

Drawings and approvals handled properly. We prepare construction drawings, electrical loads and rigging requirements and submit them to the organiser and the venue on schedule. Power, rigging and internet are ordered through your exhibitor account, and we tell you exactly what to order and when.

Equipment we own and maintain. LED and AV come from in-house inventory, tested in our own service centre before it ships, rather than sourced on the day from a third party.

A scope you can read. Every quote states what is included, what is excluded, and what happens to the stand after the show.

Process

Shorter timelines are workable and common in this market. What compresses is design and revisions. The venue approval window does not move.

Technical capabilities

Structure. Custom build, modular systems, shell scheme upgrades, single and double decker (with structural calculation and venue sign-off), raised flooring, storerooms, meeting rooms, hospitality areas.

Finishes. Print graphics, backlit fabric, laminate, wood veneer, solid surface, painted MDF, vinyl flooring, carpet, raised platforms.

Display. Indoor LED walls across common pixel pitches, video walls, large-format displays, interactive and touch screens, media players and content playback. Screen size and pitch are selected from viewing distance, not from a catalogue.

Audio. Speech and presentation systems, distributed audio for stands, wireless microphones, mixing and playback.

Lighting. Stand lighting, accent and product lighting, truss-mounted fixtures, lighting control.

Rigging and staging. Truss structures, hanging elements subject to venue rigging rules, modular stages and platforms.

On site. Installation crew during build-up, a technician for the show days, dismantling and storage after close.

Venues we work in

Dubai World Trade Centre, Expo City Dubai, and ADNEC in Abu Dhabi are the venues most Dubai-region exhibitors will encounter. Each has its own contractor rules, submission formats, height limits, rigging procedures and fire and safety requirements, and each show adds organiser rules on top.

FAQ

How long does it take to build an exhibition stand in Dubai? Comfortably 10 to 14 weeks from brief to opening day. Faster is possible, and happens often, but the venue approval window does not compress — the time comes out of design and revisions instead.

How much does an exhibition stand cost in Dubai? It depends on floor area, single or double decker, finish level and how much technology sits on the stand. The same 36 square metres can be a simple open stand or a two-level build with an LED wall. Send a floor plan and you get a preliminary budget against your actual space.

Do you handle venue approvals? Drawing submission and contractor registration are handled by us. Power, rigging and internet are ordered through the venue against your exhibitor account, and we tell you what to order and by when.

Can you supply LED and AV for a stand built by someone else? Yes. LED walls, screens, audio, lighting and staging can be supplied and operated on a stand built by another contractor.

Can the stand be reused at the next show? Yes, if it is designed for reuse from the concept stage. That decision changes how the structure is built and packed, so it has to be made early.

Do you work outside Dubai? Yes — Abu Dhabi and the rest of the UAE, and across Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Oman, Bahrain, Egypt, Morocco and Turkey. Cross-border projects need longer lead times for freight and customs.

What do you need to give me a budget? Floor plan with stand number, hall and show dates, space type, number of open sides, and what has to happen on the stand.
